Will a 2009 G5 grill directly bolt in place of a 2009 Cobalt SS Sedan grill? Not changing out the bumper or anything, just taking out the grill and bowtie crossbar and putting in the pontiac twin grill look.
Apparently the chevy crossbar in the grill is integral with the surrounding bumper facia, and you have to cut that out to fit in the pontiac twin grills. I was hoping not cutting would be involved and it could easily be swapped back if I ever sold the car.
i did a lil research on your question. and one thing remains the same throughout everything ive found. the only way to get the g5 grille to fit is to cut out the crossbar and youll need the grille outer surround piece aswell as the grille insert
hope this helps. i know it looks pretty clean when its all said and done seen a few people that have done it.
Wish I had a link, found it on google one day and use it as wallpaper. Does look pretty sick!
