Fuel gage fix....killed my top speed gov.

I'm not shiting you yesterday I was getting away from an ass in a dodge diesel and I look down and I'm going 235kph normally I can only go 230kph so I keep on the gas intel I hit about 250 kph. I m stopped there because there were too many people on the high way.(and i just shit my pants) Iím going to try agine on Sunday morning as long as the weather keeps up
Has this happend to any one ells that had there computer zapped for the fule gage??

I've hit 230+kph, but as you say there was still some more before I shut it down. Nothing to do with my fuel gauge either, as far as I know its not governed anyway.

befor i took it in for the gage it only ever hit 230kph after it seems to go on forever

It could also have to do with the change in the weather. Since it's cooler the air is no longer as thick which creates less drag on your car. As well the S/C will be working much better now that it is already pulling cooler air into the engine. I've noticed a difference in my LS since the weather has been getting cooler...I'm lovin taking it out at 12:00 at night and giving it a bit of shit just to see how well it can really do .

The only variable stopping you from going any faster is the rev limiter as soon as you hit that, you've got top speed

Permafried, it is 12:09 at night here in calgary and i an getting ready to go for a drive...They just fly in the colder weather..it about 8 right now
