33300mile now CEL is on.

Car just turned 33300 miles and sitting in trafic the CEL came on. Engine temp was only 182 everything looks fine under the hood and drives and sounds fine is this some sort of pre set for dealer service?

Oh anyone else have there pass side wipper transmision break?
And Pass head light filled up with water too. Both were fixed no cost.

cel's dont come on as a preset to go to the dealer. they come on when somethings wrong with your car..

i'd have someone check the code with a scan tool.

My best guess would be the Cat, they say these cars produce ungodly amounts of carbon so its probably clogged and by the way everyone i would use some engine cleaner often just heard about a guy that bought an 05 and at around 10k he had his car in the shop getting the carbon scraped off his pistons and his whole block reworked the service was under warranty but took almost two weeks.

Will find out friday, the soonest they could look at it.
Don't think it was the gas cap i had not gotten fuel for 3 days or so.
I did open it and lock it back down. The light whent off today going to work.
Dealer told me if the light staied one soild it was okay to drive it if it was flashing not to. Soild light is emissions.
Hope it something simple. The cars been spending alot of time there lattely.....

usually any cel is some how emissions related. a flashing cel means you have a problem that could and will cause damage to your cat. best not to drive those. let us know what it is when they scan it

Running rich they reflashed the computer.
Hopefully this works i getting depressed with how many times it's been in.
Wipers stoped on day 2 = pinched wires
24000 = bad rear wheel bearing
26000 = seat cover
30000 = wiper transmision broke
30000 = Headlight full of water
33300 = cel light and rims

Thank God, 8,000 miles and no CEL yet, only some bodywork to the drivers quarter. I'm making money on that deal.... Still pissed me off though...
