spec stage 3 clutch opinions

i kno there have been a few posts about clutches but i couldnt find the info i was looking for. my stock clutch is pretty well shot after 6500 miles im gonna see if i can get it replaced under warrenty bc i read over on .net that theres a 1year 12000mile warrenty on the clutch. hopefully i can get them to replace it for me. but scince im younger they will probably say im raceing it and not help me. so im planning ahead and looking at the spec stage 3 clutch from turbotech raceing. has anyone used this clucth i am planning on doing some modding over the summer/ exhuast header and CA stage 4 and i expect to be in the 260-270whp range bye the time im done. i kno the stock clutch wont hold that much but $$ will be an issue if i have to buy a 550$ clutch and then probably another 300 to have someone install it.
if i do have to buy it i wanna kno its gonna be good so any info/opinions on the clutch would be great thanks in advance

rally yellow cobalt ss/sc
mods: injen cai, poly tranny mounts, vibrant performance header/dp w/ highflow cat, corsa sport exhaust, custom tune

The spec 3+ sounds like a plan, but 6500 miles?!?! ang dude, I have stg2 and ~9k on mine and not many problems. But, even if it was a "shim" issue like ive heard, might as well get then to put the new clutch in it.

dude i got 16k outta my stocker...

and trust me on this...

I dident think my stock clutch was sliping ever(roll or dig) however when i raced my budys stock ss/sc with my old mod list(2.7BF,60's, supporting mods) and i dident pull untill my higher rev limter took over.

the clutchin slips and you dont know it...it goes over time so you adjust to it...

get a solid clutch and pay for the high quality...you'll love it!

my spec 3+ is awesome....best clutch out for our cars(besides twin plate excedy)

I don't baby my car, but I don't beat on it really bad either, I have over 21k miles on my car and I'm still on the stock clutch.
