one of the buttons on my steering wheel isn't working

i just wanted to know if any of your guys' radio control buttons have stopped working. my seek up button doesn't work anymore from some reason...it works sometimes and then it goes out. i was wondering if that was a defect or known problem with cobalts?? and does anyone know if that's covered in the GM warranty??...thanks

yes, its under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. I had to get my cruise control button replaced on my car a week after I got it.

A couple weeks ago, I had to go up to Ohio for my cousnin's wedding, somewhere around 1100 miles. Only a couple hours into the drive up, all my steering wheel buttons quit working, including my cruise control. How many miles did I have at the very moment? 36,007 miles, no more bumper to bumper warranty. My car hates me...

I would tell the dealership that it quit working a week before and you were commited to going to a wedding. If they argue, just ask for the service advisor, then the gen manager if any disputes arise. They will give you what you want to keep you a satisfied customer, believe me, I have been in retail wayyyy too long!

They had to order the part. Couldn't say exactly how long it took to come in -- I had to call them an ask about it.
Dropped the car off at 7:30am and they called at 10:30am sayin it was done.
