slave cylinder????????

where in the shit is the slave cylinder? is it near the throw out bearing or wht i am completely lost on this!!!!! any help????????

the slavecylinder an throwout bearing are combined one piece units, pull the trans and you'll see it.

In order to find the slave cylinder, you will have to take the transmission out and look inside. It is bolted on hand tight to the inside wall of the tranny.

It is about an 8 hour job to replace it at a shop so I would not recommend doing it yourself unless you have done transmission/clutch jobs on a front wheel drive vehicle before....

Out of curiosity, why do you need this information??

i changed my clutch and i have brake fluid leakin outta my tranny and i think tht i might have left a line to the slave cylinder loose but i have a mechanic lookin at it now cause i def am not pullin tht tranny out again lol

Just give it a few days, drink a few beers, and dive right back in there.
