thinking about buying a ss

Hey guys I am new to the cobalt seen and thinking about purchasing one for a daily driver due to the fact that my truck is getting to modded to be a daily driver. I found a red 06 ss with black interior. This car is owned by a kid that didnt apprciate something that was given to him. It has not been taking care of at all. Needs a new pass mirror, driver door has long scratch all the way down so will need repainted. All four wheels are curve checked, and the car is dirty as hell. The lady is asking 10500 and I told her I would give her 7500 firm. Is this a fair deal considering what is wrong with the car? How hard is a stock set of 05-07 wheels to come by and how much? The car does have stage 2 clutch with cold air kit. Give me some feed back, thanks Nick.

a Cobalt SS is a nice car and would be a great daily driver. However, the one you have mention is cause for concern, who knows how badly this kid treated it and what failures on the car might be down the road as a result of his neglect. I guess if you get it cheap enough maybe....

It would be a great fix up. And stock rims are hard to come by for cheap. you can buy the stock ones from other sites for like 100 to 250 per rim. Like I said it aint gonna be cheap. Cobalts are becoming a RARE car.

Id be leary of it but if you can fix things yourself $7500 would leave you a few dollars to play with. If she agrees to $7500 I would still take it in and have it looked at mechanically before giving her the money!

Yea. That would be the smart thing to do. Dont just buy it because you might be deealing with problems down the road if there is any problems with it
