comp mode?

as many of u know i got my 2010 a few months ago.
still getting use to it. taking it nice and slow and such only has 658 miles on it in like a 3month time frame.

so today was the first time i played with comp mode and i was just wondering what all does it do. ive lookd around i know it turns traction off and all that fun stuff and puts launch controle on

but when i was driving in comp mode. it felt like shifts were way smoother vs norm mode. does comp mode do something that effects how smoothly gears engage or is it just in my head? maybe i see comp mode and i give it alot more gas or something iunno lol . just wondering.

car is my first car. first stick . first everything. thx yall.
