GM Stage 1 FLIES in 09 SS/TC

Okay, got the car back yesterday from GM here in Huntsville AL...the car absolutely flies...22lbs of boost instead of 17 and buries the 160 speedo. Playing around with my buddies 08 Acura TL Type S (283) horses and pulled away from him easily...looking for my buddy in his 135i and I am sure I will walk away from that too. This is coming from a older guy who has owned tons of cars...05 M3, 05 STi, 05 RX-8 (Slow POS), 06 GTO, 07 300C SRT-8, Currently have 06 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. This little DAILY DRIVER is one of the funnest cars on the planet. Just thought I would share...NOW with the Stage 1 installed, I think it would run side by side with the GTO, SRT8, and 05 STi. I think my 05 M3 would sneak it and my Porsche would walk away from it. BTW, I spent a whopping 15,600 bucks on a car with 4K miles on it with a sticker of 25,050...great little car! Your car should walk the GTO now because I can stay side by side with a LS1 & LS2 all the way to 145 MPH. You should definitely walk the Subi, 300SRT-8 (leave that on the freeway). The M3 will still take the Balt until you go stage 2.

But like Skoal said, the tune will make you even more satisfied.... Enjoy it while it lasts!

Any questions about the Balt, all answered here:

I hear ya. Old timer here too (used to race my 944 Turbo). Bought mine without ever really driving the car. Saw on ad for an 09 with 8600 Mi for 16K and bought it! Drove 300 miles to Monterey, Ca and drove it home through mountain roads..LORDY LORDY. Turned out it already had a tune! Car will go from 60-100 in 6.4 sec and 60-90 in 4.8 sec. That's damn fast. Handles great. I suggest you do the following: 1) Pedder Springs 2) O-T-T-P rear Street Sway bar 3) O-T-T-P Stage 1 tranny mount kit. That's ALL ya need now.
