Key is stuck in ACC position...

Driving home from a friends house...pull up in my driveway and yeah...key is just stuck in the on/acc position...wiggling the steering wheel wont get it out.

I read that some models have some sort of hole with a spring or some sh*t under the steering wheel and if u push it or pull it it comes out...but there is no hole like that on mine

The worst part is the only way to get the damn car to shut off is by purposely dumping the clutch with my e brake on to stall it...

Also, it's aggravating as hell because I have to keep unhooking and hooking up the negative on my battery so the damn thing doesn't drain.

I'm so sick of all the problems with this thing... First the annoying power steering...now this stuff...
This is my first and will be my last Chevy.

Anyway...can anyone help?
Brining it to the dealer is no option since today is Saturday and the dealer wont be open again till Monday...

PS: it's an 09 Cobalt SS/TC

had the same exact thing happen. get it to a dealer. and you will be fine. if still problems then list here. every new type car has issues. dont give up based on one type...
