questions for ....

Can you swap motors From a Chevy Cobalt SS to a 1998 Chevy S10 Are they the same mount up brackets

I can tell you that they aren't the same mount up brackets for sure....

FWD motor is sideways, RWD truck motor is front to back. And all the cobalt motors are mounted onto a subframe 2 times, on both sides of the unibody one front where the pullies are and one out back. It would be a hard conversion but an LSJ in an S10 would be something worth seeing.

it would cost to much to try to make it work, now you might beable to use the motor out of Sky or solstic (how ever you spell it) they are RWD, then you would just have to cut out the mounts and re weld them to the S10. That would be the best way i could see it working.
