Plan on buying 2006 cobalt ss s/c

I just wanted to ask you guys what you think on me buying a cobalt ss s/c. I would be trading in my 2006 malibu ss for it. Looking for something that may be more reliable and better MPG... Will I find it in this cobalt? any common issues i should know before buying it?

Malibu - 49000 miles
cobalt - 57000 miles

Also if anyone knows off top of head if their same bolt pattern... 5-110

Keep it outta the boost and you'll get good mileage. Lol
As for being more reliable... not sure. But I'll tell you that s/c is wayyyy more badass that the malibu. IMO

please explain how you dont hit boost on a supercharger? theres no lag like a turbo so its instant boost pretty much

you just drive it normal and don't really get into the throttle, it at that point really won't get into boost, maybe maybe intially, then what little boost will bleed off thru the bypass..

Hopefully someone answer within two hours. Tomorrow I find out if I get the car financed! Now down side is I have no snow tires and I got to drive over a pass. Now I do have 225/50R18 (stock on my Malibu) that are great tires in snow. Now would these tires clear on the cobalt? from my understanding and looking, it looks like the Malibu and cobalt have exact rims and same clearance in the fenders (course this is naked eye and not looking at inside clearance). Anyone know if they will clear or maybe only rub on SHARP turns. I just want to make it home safe they have performance tires on it and wont make it over pass for sure

I wouldn't count on the 225/50R18 to fit on the Cobalt. The wheel gap is probably not big enough for when you go over a speed bump. It may be too tall of a tire, and it may rub on the front strut perch. Only way to know is to test fit one before you do all of them.
