Supercharger life

My s/c balt has 70,000 miles. Before I go and mod up the s/c anyone know how long they usually last? I know it varies ALOT. But any input would help. If its about done then I'll go with the turbo kit. Thanks

I've heard of a supercharger with 60K miles last up to 110,000, although then again the specific car was driven mainly in downtown, and really wasn't pushed to the limit on a daily basis. So basically what I'm saying is if you do a lot of highway driving and cover a lot of ground for work on a daily basis, maybe shoot for somewhere in the middle of 70k and 110k miles for the lifespan.

To be honest with you, I have not heard of anyone blowing the SC on the LSJ unless you do stupid shortcut modifications. A rebuild kit shouldn't cost an arm and a leg, generally go for ~$350.... But if you really want to I would say just turbo the Balt and you should be good.
