Question about ss/sc vs other cars and mod questions

ok, i wanna get a new car and i have been looking into the cobalt ss/sc, ion redline and the civic si. i looking to spend 20-23. i read alot about the diff mods for all the cars and there are a few thing i dont understand. let me say that i dont know much about car but i learning. Any help u can give me would greatly help

so, 1st off. the cobalt ss/sc and the redline are bascly the same car just diff look? so stock they would both run the same? i hear that the srt4 are faster but stock vs a stock cobalt the srt4 would start to pull a head in 3rd b/c the cobalt has a tall 3rd gear. so does the redline has the same prob?

How much hp can a cobalt take b4 u need to start upgrade some internals vs and Si?

Any pro/con of the 3 cars that you can think of

What i want is a fast car that i can get mod for that dont involve upgrade internals right now.

Thx

If you really want a fast car that you can get a good mod for without having to upgrade your internals then I would recommend looking into a non-supercharged cobalt ss with the 2.4 then add Hahn's stage 4 turbo kit. It has been dyno'd at 400hp on stock internals.
