mph drop

i was wondering if anybody has ever dropped at 60 mph in a race
when i did i lost horably to a srt4
but at a 70 mph drop pulled 1 car length on it
im assuming that 60 is a bad time to drop
this is all 3rd gear
is there any way to get good power at 60 mph on a drop?

Hey, I dont know if it is the cold air or what, but my car will stutter when you first take off when its been sitting a while. And I'm not "getting on it" or "dogging it", just taking it easy, but its like a carbureted car when you first start it up. Are these cars really that cold natured? Has anyone had any problems even similar to mine? Do you think if I put my stock intake on for winter that it will do better? No CELs as of yet, so I cant tell if it is a problem or not....
