280whp+ with these mods?!? idk...

OK, story goes like this, guy comes up to the store today with an 05 SS. His mods were as follows (that I could see, and what he told me) 2.5" pulley, Heat exchanger, stage 2, CAI, and 60#ers. Mind you he had no torque damper, or torsion bars what-so-ever, and he was running on stock rubber. He says he is pushing 23psi on stock internals, and had the alcohol injection kit in the trunk of his car (not installed) (he showed me) He wanted to see about a compression test because he said that with the boost he has now, that when he got on it at the last dyno tune, he popped the oil dipstick and cap off the engine. Im personally calling BS on this one, but wanted to know what everyones take is on it. He is also claiming 280whp and then his car nose-dives (possibly lack of fuel), he says itsprobably more, but I'm doubting that. What do ya'll think???

did u look under the hood for most of the stuff
and as u know if hes got stage 2 w/ 60# injectors w/ a 2.5 pully the tune will not handle that sort of boltons
the stage 2 is designed for 42.5# and a 3 in pulley
quite a difference
and did he have a machined snout for the smaller pully
if not i will call bs

whatever it was, he was totally bs-ing me. The snout was the same as stock, and yes, stage 2 has 42.5#s. He must have been dropped on his head. He would be running so lean that his pistons would have fused to the head.

Oh i know for fact, if hes still running on factory rubber, and no traction bars/ torque damper, he'd hop like a damn bunny rabbit at the start. Or either he takes off like a granny....
