Shifter position

Yesterday i test drove a cobalt ss/sc. The car was great except for one thing. Every time i shifted into second and fourth, the back of my arm hit the seat. Is this something you get used to or is it just me?

Damn dude you dont have to move your arm that much to shift in the ss/sc. But i think thats something anyone could live with and how does your arm hit the seat for fourth thats in the middle.

I always rest the inside of my elbow on the outside bolster of my seat, that way, If I take a curve, I can dow/upshift and hold in the seat a little easier. idk, maybe your arms are longer than mine...

I shift with my wrist. My arm just sits on the armrest I installed from GM accessories.
