Thats a good start but if you planning on anything smaller than a 2.9 pulley I would just get 60 lb injectors and whatever pulley size you want. 2.7 seems to be the most reliable as of now. Also with the smaller pulleys, get the stage 2 belt. I got stage 2 with 2.9" and HPTuners coming next tuesday.

2005 Victory Red Cobalt SS Supercharged
GM Performance Stage 2 kit with 2.9" Pulley
K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake
Corsa Touring Cat-Back Exhaust System
ZEX Plugs
Aeroforce Interceptor SS Edition Gauge
AEM UEGO Wideband A/F Gauge
Custom Engine Covers
DC Sports Strut Tower Bar

dervin3 speaks the truth my friend. I say go with GM stage 2, buy a 2.9" pulley and get tuned. That's the cheapest most reliable way to do it.

If you run the 2.9 you might want some supporting mods like an intake and exhaust.

don't forget Zex plugs

Just look at me and CTCOBALTSSS mod list and thats about it for maxing out the 42s...Only thing left for me to do is what he has already done and thats header and downpipe.

Speaking of the XTC header and downpipe combo...CTCOBALTSSS, whats the fitment like? Any issues? I have a Corsa Touring cat-back and hoping it will all bolt up nicely.

You're right this is pretty much it for the 42's.

The XTC header and downpipe fit nicely. No fitment issues at all.
Don't let the 2.25" collector fool you either. It actually helps keep low end torque which we need.

It's the best header/downpipe combo for the money in my opinion.
The Corso would bolt up nicely to the XTC 2.5" downpipe with high flow cat.

There is no reason in the world to want low end torque unless you are towing something or you enjoy spinning your tires. When you are racing don't rev all the way up to redline???

I don't see anything wrong with low-end torque bro.

Cobalts lack it. If you know how to drive low end torque is your friend off the line. Either way.....
