Why no Cobalt???

Car and driver just did a test of 25 grand toys and Theres a mini and a Nissan spec V but no Cobalt. What gives? Not only did they omit one of the hottest toys on the market with the Cobalt but the butcher the order which the cars should have finished in. A WRX in 5th place out of a field of 5???. I agree the Mazda speed 3 is probably the most fun car in the group but that's because it's the highest performance car in the group. Shouldn't the WRX have come in second? 14 second 1/4 mile and all wheel drive traction.Everytime Car and driver compares cars now a days they find a way to F-it up!

Honestly, they really have no idea which cars are good and what aren't. It's all by "popular demand".

I just read the same article. Found the mag sitting on my coffee table when I got home from school today. I was wondering the Cobalt was too. I also completely agree that they F'd up the order. I surprised to see the WRX TR in last, yet it was one of only 2 of the five that made it to the hotel when they did the test while the other 3 got stuck in the snow and had to be abandoned.

Couldn't tell you why they don't have a Cobalt, but I know the new WRX's have made many high 13 second stock passes, as have the Mazdas.

Car and Driver FTL... I think they favorite one company over the other at times like when they do passes or runs. The numbers they put out sometimes don't always match to what is true...
