i finally got beat

yea i have outran civics mustangs from 90 to 05 and a 2002 camaro ss with boltons. But the lone integra that i gave a idea for a build outruns me lol. it is a 97 with a b20 and turboed running 6 psi and has traction bars radials solid mounts and a reallly really good tune. but it was by 2 cars the first run with traction control on and still spun through first and with it off i still spun but worse and he stopped pulling after i stopped spinning. So we going to rerun at import face off tomrrow...... But the funny thing is i am completey stock and he has over 6 grand just in turbo and traction bars. so i dont feel so bad

6 grand for a turbo kit??? sounds like someone took the integra owner for a ride on that deal.

I'm thinking of trading my Cobalt for an LS1 and doing a similar setup. But to the OP, don't feel so bad getting thrashed by an Integra, it happens to many others including some on Saturday nights here in Oakland:

they are small 50lb turbo's but they spool fast....

Probably something like an '05. They seem to be the best priced around my area so that is another reason to get one. Affordable speed....

Do you know the model of turbo?? Garrett or turbonetics, etc.... Trying to see what the best match up is because it seems to work for you.

I am sorry, I didn't want to make myself look foolish, but obviously I did.

I remembered that the LS1 was stopped in 2004!!!! That is the year I would like to purchase....
