2.2balt vs thunderbird sc

im on my way home from school today and i this red thunderbird pulls up next to me it sounded pretty nasty it definitally had an exhaust on it he pulled up about 2 cars in front of me i noticed it was an SC i knew i didnt stand a chance(i only have the 2.2l) but i went for it anyway we pulled up at the next light and he asked if i was superchareged i told him no. he had an automatic the light went green we both floored it he had 3 cars on me by the time we got to 40 mph and the another 2 by the time i got to 60.
i was wondering if i a superchared balt would have beat him

*sniff* kinda miss my SC... those things handled incredibly well for their size

Best mine ever did was 14.9, but that was faster than Z28's at the time. Glad to see a few are still running around

A supercharged cobalt should win because they weigh about 200 to 300 pounds less than a SC! They SC was rated at 210 HP to the Balt's 205 rating. Should make a pretty good race.

Torque was insanely higher though... 315 baby! @ 2500rpm or so too... it was a beast of a car off the line

They also weighed in at 3800lbs, which offset that a bit... quite a bit more than an SS (which is a little porky, but not that bad!)

Did a little research, it's not that great of a race after all. SC's are high 15 second cars.

A SS will flat out spank an SC

Yeah but hell, a 'series 2' 3.8 in a fourth gen camaro put out 200hp stock. So definitly the Balt SS would own his ass. The superchargers were bad about going sour on the ford 3.8, and expensive as hell to fix.

I know for a fact they will win and badly I kill them. There is a red one with white stripes that has a ported supercharger and new motor and KILLED him
