Highway roll with a GT500

I was coming home from visiting a sick relative this weekend. I usally travel at night because there's less cops and traffic. I was doing 80 on rt. 13 in delaware at about 4 in the morning when I spot something moving up on me fast in my rear view mirror. I slow down to make sure it wasn't a cop. It wasn't a cop it was a white Shelby GT500! The guy pulled up beside me for a second and then gunned it. He took off like a scalded dog! He slowed again and I figured out he wanted to play so I held up three fingers and he nodded OK. I honk 3 times and we both floor it. Both cars loose traction for 3 or 4 seconds and then grab. He learchs ahead by half a car. I start to pull as my turbo hits full boost (about 23PSI!) I get a half car lead on the Mustang but can't walk away. I did keep my lead all the way up to 140 when we finally let off. He gives me a thumbs up , I returned the justure and he screamed off. I've read alot of negative stuff about the GT500 and I can personally tell you not to believe it, Their Stupid Fast!!!

When I scald my dog for doing something bad he cowers and moves slowly into his hiding place under the piano bench. Based on this I'm assuming that the GT500 is very slow. Are you stating your car is slow too because you kept up with him?

Just kidding! This was all meant in jest.

super experience. but really loose traction side by side for 3-4 seconds? that is a long time. It really is especially if you cover a 1/4 in 12 seconds right. maybe a 0.5 to 1 second loss of traction. that is all I will say about the truth. I believe your experience (I wont say your story cause that implies that it is not true, right).

Well you won by a nose, Good kill.

Funny GT I have some family that lives in the south and they use that term alot for fast cars. ssnipes if you ever line up next to a car with 500hp any wheel spin feels like forever. You lose races by spinning tires. but you probably know that right?

blue beast you should have kept going to about 160. i belive the GT500 is limeted 155mph from the factory. still a great kill tho it gives ppl a sense of just how fast your car is. i love the GT500s tho there awsome cars
