That's funny...little Cobalt got owned. That's about how it looked when I ran that stage 2 on NOS. Looked worse than that running that stage 3...

Pretty much what I'd expect for a GTO vs. SS race espically from a roll where the GTO doesn't have to deal with traction issues..... The GTO 's are pretty stout cars.

So what are you trying to say? The SS/SC has no traction issues from a roll and a good driver can launch a GTO like a rocket.

The myths of low traction and wheel hop in GTO's are spawned by rookie drivers. 400HP takes more than planting your right foot when launching.

LOL even when I compliment your car you get bent. GTO's are not world class when it comes to a drag launch. the stock tires are skinny as hell and they do suffer from alot of wheel hop. It's an easy fix! wider tires and drag bags for the rear suspension.

Yea the car does have some traction issues with the stock tires. However I was still able to pull a 2.0 60' and run a 13.0 @ 108 with those stock tires. I'd only imagine that from a stop a 270whp Cobalt on 18'' wheels would have a tougher time hooking than me. I usually launch pretty well, but there is a fine line between a good launch and smoking tire.

Thats a good run. Do you have a copy of the slip you can post, I'd like to see the entire break down.

Yea thats real nice. Your car was moving thru the 8th. I think blue is one of the better colors for the GTO also.
