2.4L SS Sedan Dyno Results...



Now this was on an axel dyno (Front tires off of vehicle)... They said to about about 14.32% to the numbers to have an accurate reading of HP and Torque for my car... So thats 180.73 Ftlbs and 177.54 HP at the crank!! Not to shabby... Hope this answers peoples questions about how much power the 2.4L has!

ThanX for posting the info. I have the SS SC and my wife has a SS 2.4 on order.

So far..... 500 miles.... I love my car

Nice numbers. I would assume that those correction factors that you were given were for converting to crank hp, not wheel? That's just my thoughts though. I know they underrate the LSJ's from the factory, so I guess they could have done it the same for the 2.4L as well.

hate to burst ur bubble, but thats 174 whp at the crank, not at the wheels, ur putting down about 155 hp to the wheels, still respectable however.

What the hell? I thought that thing had vvt? Shouldn't it have a flatter torque curve and much more torque up top?
