From what Ive always heard... the VW isnt as fast as the CSS S/C but they said it was the fastest of the bunch?!?! Whatever... biased testing...

The guy is a moron. I test drove 3 out of the four cars and the cobalt out performed all of them. I found the GTi to be the worst car out on the market. The Honda was nice but looked like shit and too much under steer. I'm happy with the Cobalt and I'm glad I bought it. Who ever did that program must have been paid by VW, cause the GTi is a piece of shit.

I don't see how it could be faster,
less horsepower/torque 200/207 at the crank
smaller wheels/tires
more body roll
and it's about 100 pounds heavier.
Motor Trend says a 7.2 0-60?
(6.1 for the SS)

I wonder what they must have been smoking or how much VW advertising they are getting, what idiots!

lol you guys should be used to hearing this by now.. has everyone forgot about the motortrend "cheapspeed" article? and when i took down their website voting poll

man those were some good times

it was like cobalt in last place, 2 hours later cobalt in third, a couple more hours near tied with first, then was at like 5000-6000 votes cobalt to 3000 to srt lmao!

You have to love how they only complained that the Cobalt had a cheap interior. That was it. There were way more bad things they said about the Si and the GTI.
