stereo amp.

anyone upgrade their stock stereo system. I don't want to change out the deck, but I don't know where the amp sits? I would like to replace that shitty 10" sub, but theres not much use if I cant find the amp! Help anyone?

why would you want to use the stock smp anyway? just leave it where it is, it powers all the speakers in the car so fiddling with it is not a good idea. just get a new amp, and wire it up using a line out converter hooked to the rear 6x9's in the trunk. that's what i did. i chose to just leave the stock sub back there but you could always take it out if you wanted to.

I guess that would make sense. I wanted to leave the stock head unit in there because of thiefs. I've had my car broken into one to many times. Alarm or not!
thanks for the tip bro.
