2.4" Pulley???

so a friend of mine has a extra pulley kit that fits on 06 cobaltss/sc and its 2.4" the only thing i have done to the cobalt is a magnaflow exhaust. would it be safe to add the pulley even if i dont romp on it?

The stock supercharger on the cobalt is made by Eaton, and the pulley that he has is a Eaton M62. don't know if that matters?

Found Answer, 2.4" is way to small, ill need no smaller than a 2.8 with stock engine.
