Hello, long time lurker, finally joined. Im looking at the FE5 setup from CED, and notice a strut bumper? what is that and do I need to order them with the struts? I picked up some MOOG end links and tie rod ends from O'reilly's, just need to the shocks and struts. My vehicle is a 08 Sport with 120k miles. no racing but I drive a lot from CA to TX for work.
have you tried looking on the classified section? you may repost this. say that you're looking for shocks and struts for your ride. you might get some luck in finding the part you need there.
Strut bumper is to help the shock not to button out when carrying heavy loads or doing some extreme driving. When I bought a Bilstein shocks with 4 Wheel Online, they also suggest to install strut bumpers to add protections with the shocks.
I am looking into Fortune Auto 500 coilovers. Great customer service and good reputation. Pricey for our general budgets but i believe worth the investment.
