Talking RanshiftSS Needs to know????

Hello all, im a owner of 2009 Cobalt SS Turbocharged I have only had the car for 5 days now and I love it. However it has been a while since i have driven stick and I do still seem to be having problems with clutching and first gear ( smooth shifting). I need all the tips and quirks about the cobalt that most of you current owners have discovered about this amazing compact car and also were I can find those Damned Halo Light Fixtures!!!! Also Its completely Stock and it only has 29K on it for an 09 that is pretty damn good. I don't want to burn out my clutch so I am practicing safe shifting just having rough launches as well as adjusting to the clutch any help would be useful as far as the power bands for gears 1,2,3,4,5 the shift light doesn't light up but i heard that its not active in the SS models.

Thanks Guys
Ran

on my 09 i have the RPD screen and i think that's the only way to get a shift light in these turbo models. usually when I'M driving nice, i up-shift around 2500 -2700 rpm. best way to drive smooth i found is to just release the clutch pedal slowly (mine tends to be a rough release no matter how i try) these cars are a little different than your average ECO car. you'll get used to it in time. keep practicing!!
