A couple Ecotec crate motors just showed up here at my work. I am not to familiar with any of them except the S/C version. One has a plastic intake manifold and says VVT on the valve cover. I am not even sure if I am supposed to know about them or not so I will not get into where I work.

Just thought it was kinda cool to see them out there and I thought I would pass it along. ;)

I know where you work.

:D
Where's the BS flag? I checked around yesterday and they are production engines so I can't get in trouble.

I was surprised to see VVT on the 2.4. ;) We have full CAD drawings of the head and bottom end. :D I asked the guy heading up the project, "should I sell the SRT and get a Cobalt" and he politely responded with a slight grin "if you want a fast car".

Hell,
I'd love to get my hands on the CAD files.
But I'm a draftsman, so big surprise....
