Another sotry of an SS

Finally I've gotten the hang of driving this thing. Lol, anyway, took my SS for a nice 450+ mile trip this weekend. Up to about 950 miles now...pretty far if you ask me. Had alot of heads turing on the highways this weekend. Lots of GTIs, Acuras, Hondas, Fords, BMWs driving on my ass. I was doin about 80(didn't feel like it) and this guy is riding my ass with his bright headlights glaring into my rearview, so I decide to see what happened when I stepped on the gas. No lie, I went from 80-100 in about 3 or 4 seconds, same goes for the rest of the idiots trying to ride my tail. I was lovin just pullin away from them in 2 seconds and seeing them get farther away. And got my first "mod" too, Cobra radar detector....LOL, smartest "mod" ever. Thats just my story, it's pretty much broken in now; time to goto the detail car wash in my town this week...hehehe

Congrats on the ss really a nice ride.I know the feeling you are getting when you drive it I get the same thoughts from my RL.

I know what you mean about gettin the hang of driving this thing. I've been dri ving a stick for years, but stalled this car a couple of times in the begining.
And yeah that sc really kicks.

Wow that is awsome i cant wait untill i get mind i will love stalking around and knowing i can win and they have no chance. That will be the best but i got to wait.

congrats on getting it... but rather than stomping on the gas when you have idiots doing that just downshift and watch the rearview as they soil themselves >=P then open it up.

If it was a V6 you shoulda burnt his ass! If it was a WS6 you would have been smart to tuck your tail and hold your speed! LOL

I know it was a V8..and if it was a V6 yes i obviously would have smoked it cause i raced a V6 Camaro and had no problem beating it.

LOL i raced my freind's stock Neon SXT i bet the hell out of it with my Camaro he finally caught up when i finally hit like 100 or so and plus i back off because my car gets scarry some times at 100+ mph.

Yeah my 2.2L S-10 can smoke an SXT Neon too. I can even smoke an SRT-4 in my truck, ...if he stalls his car... twice... LOL

SRT-4's will just laugh at my car. LOL And if i had a hard time keeping up with a sohc Del Sol i think a SRT-4 will kill my car.

thats nothing, before we bought the SS, she had a 96 SOHC 4 door neon with 160,000 miles and a rebuilt engine!!! Thae car had such a horrid exhaust leak it sounded like a skeletons bones clicking together going down the road!!!!
