Here's the deal- either my boost gage is wonky or the super's got a vacuum leak. At WOT, pulling 6k RPMs, it's only showing 10 lbs of boost. Everything I've read says these guys run 12, and when a buddy of mine dynoed his Redline it showed 12.5.

So what I would like to know from you guys is- what is your max VACUUM reading. If my gage is just mis-calibrated, I should be showing more vacuum at idle and less boost at top end. At idle mine shows 20 lbs of vacuum.

I've got an appointment to get it looked at on Monday, but I'd like to get an idea of what I'm going to hear. I'm afraid it's a bad seal in the super, though because it's been running a little rich (not officially- I haven't gotten an A/F gage yet- but the exhaust pipe is BLACK, heavy, heavy soot, so it's running rich somewhere in the range).

Hope you guys can help. Thanks.

Actually a lot of people had that issue, at least at first,
but most have said that it went away after it had more miles on it
then it went up to 12 or 12.5

Same, I've been in to 2 dealers to check if there was any problems with my SC no proividing the proper boost. Both times came up just fine 0 problems at all. 4500kms on it only getting about 10.5psi, hoping a few more k on the car and it will come around a bit =)!

Ok, thanks y'all. I've got just a hair over 1000 miles on it, so that could very well be it. I appreciate the responses.
