Iv noticed that when i idle my boost gauge is at -22 then when i push the gas it only goes up when im in gear, is this normal. like if im in neutral or the clutch is pushed in the boost doesnt read anything

Boost kicks in when RPM's go up... what's the point of boostin' 12psi at 0mph?

As for the clutch pressed down.... your RPM's go down don't they? Same thing as above, even if you're rolling.

My guess is that they set it up so the bypass valve is open when your not in gear. Why I dont know... Its nice to build a little boost when getting it ready to launch.

lol i don't think you want to build boost when launching an ss. you can't take off as it is.. unless you were gonna use drag radials or something
