Hey, I am picking up my SS on Wednesday and I only have one problem with it. It is black and I do not like the gold bowtie that sticks out like a sore thumb in the front grille. It looks ok on other color SS' but I do not like it on the black... Does anyone know of any aftermarket aluminum ones or even plastic ones that I could get for it? Any help would be great, thanks!

i took that ugly bowtie off of the back mine with no replacement. i was thinking about taking the little bowtie off of my old cavalier and putting that on just painting it a different color. but i think im going to leave it blank. so theres a suggestion.. the cavalier one.. and paint it red or something.. lol

I actually think that the front emblem would look good removed as well with a full billet grille goin across w/ a matching grille for the lower fascia.

What do you guys think yay or nay?
That is what I had in my 95 s-10 show truck. I had the grille painted black to match the truck, had the billit grille inserts, and had a billit bowtie in the front with headlight blackouts. It looked very clean!! I am more into the clean look rather than the wild look!

how easy is this to get off? What do you use to keep from scratching / damaging your paint?
