Uhh, if it is like the RL it can be done, don't ask me how, but my Saturn dealership installed a alarm/starter combo and I will be using it daily in winter here and have used it countless times already. So the point to my mumble of words is yes it can be done, but no I don't know how.

Hey if you do this does that mean it runs without it down while the key can be in it too... I know of the Havoc alarms but this seems interesting and I always hated that damn clutch hold down requirement...want if I want to relax?

Check your clutch pedal, follow it up there should be a switch... there will be one you just have to find. Get a meter and test the wires. If its like mine (S-10) there will be two wires... get your meter out and find out which one is the switched wire and either ground it or tap it to 12V.... depending on what the switched wire is... mine was ground.

The supra is pretty much stock ;)

So has anyone figured this out yet? I haven't had a chance to get under there and check it out. And, I'm not doing this to set up an alarm w/remote start. Just doing it so my gf or I won't have to step in the clutch to turn on the car. If I was installing an alarm, I would just let the guy who installed my viper, do the clutch bypass and install a viper on her's as well.

Well just a little update. I finally got a chance to take my time and look at the switch. It turns out, it's a very simple mod that will take no more than 10 mins. I will take some pics and post it up but basically, you find the switch and a little above it you will see a black connector. You unplug the connector and insert a paperclip to complete the circuit. And voila, you can now start the car without the clutch being engaged. I wrapped the clip in electrical tape and move the harness out of the clutch's path.
