My work is a officail SS cobalt whore we now have 4 cobalt ss's on the lot on yellow wih yellow inserts, one red with red inserts, one with blue inserts and a black with the performance package. Was told the red and blue are already sold but there on the lot. pic w/ camera phone

Theres like 4-6 SS's at a local Chevy dealer in my area, I dont know why these are so rare everywhere else???

There seems to be a bunch of them in my neck of the woods as well. (Northwest suburbs of Chicago. No LSD's though.)

I was planning on picking one up as a cheap and fun little commuter this Fall, but upon reflection, will probably wait and either order one in Feb and take delivery after Winter or, if the dealers have a good selection, drive one off the lot in April '06.

We are thinking about picking ours up in / around May '06. I wanting there to be a decent amount of aftermarket mods out and most if not all the recalls done before I go to pick it up. Do a little more research, bide my time then buy one. By then I will have plenty of kowledge of the car and exactly what I want to do with it performance wise.
