Someone said that the 2.2L ecotec cavi's were only runnin .2 of a second slower 0-60 than the coupe Civic Si's, which aren't really slow! And they claiming 145 I think now instead of 140, but I really don't hink any changes were really made. But the Cobalts are a lil heavier I believe, but I still think they will have pretty good performance for a base line car. Oh and the suspensions are still supposed to be really good on the non-SS. I would DEFINITELY put money on a base Cobalt over a base Civic or anything of the sort.

Yeah a base Cobalt will have beter tourqe than a Civic. Wich will make for a good NA tuner or turbo built up.

Actually a turbo'd 2.2 would probably run balls to the wall on a 2.0S/C. I say put a modified turbo setup from the Sky Redline into the SS's and run 250+ hp for next years SS factory, since 06 is probably the year I'll end up buying!! :D

I allready have my '05 LSB, But am still breaking it in. Meanwhile alot of people are asking me how fast it is and I'm stuck without any answer. Even though the dealer told me it doesn't really need a break in period, I'm still not considering it broken in untill my first oil change.
