Does the SS really run low to mid 14's? I mean, I keep seeing different times in magazines such at 15.0 and 15.1. Someone clear it up.

The best time we have for a Redline, stock, is 14.35... Average is around 14.6ish....

Yeah there have been a lot of mixed results out there. Just like anything, it's gonna depend a lot on the driver, the track, weather, etc. One day you might run a 14.5. Another day and another driver, the same car might run a 15.2.

But given all the times out there, I certainly don't think it's unreasonable to say that the SS should be in the 14s with a decent driver and decent conditions. Whether it's exactly 14.4 or 14.7 or 15.0... meh, who cares.

The fastest I heard out of a redline was 14.2XX. Ive not heard of anyone postin their slips for a Cobalt SS yet...
