DETROIT -- Everyone can be a General Motors employee again.

Coming off a record sales month in June, GM will extend its "Employee Discount for Everyone" incentive program until Aug. 1, offering employee pricing levels on most 2005 vehicles, several dealers say.

The only vehicles excluded from the program are the Pontiac GTO and Chevrolet Corvette cars and Hummer H1 SUV.

Spurred by the promotion, GM's sales increased 46.9 percent last month over year-ago levels. GM sold more cars and light trucks than any month since September 1986.

The GM program was so popular that the Chrysler group announced plans to offer the same discounts this month. Ford Motor Co. told managers it would match the GM program.

Booooo I hope that they don't offer that on the '06's I think that they need to slow down on the discounts and just make less vehicles. I don't want to be loosing OT just so they can sell them cheaper. LOL
OOOHHH!!! If I can remember correctly... Somebody said that if they would extend GM pricing a month longer they might buy a SS!

HERES YOUR CHANCE: JARRAD!!!!(for off topic moderator!!! LOL)

LMAO yeah that is like a slap in the face when i saw that it was being extened. That makes me sad. :(
I wish they would just keep sellin at that price and lower the employee price! That would rock worlds!!!!
I agree, they should just get rid of incentives....lower MSRP's of the '06's.

Sniff Sniff...

You know what Chris... This is almost a 'sign'. I told Paul, I might actual go and see what they can do for me. I need payments that are around $300 a month. This is probably a no go but I guess it is worth a try. Maybe I will just sell my del Sol and put the money I get from it down on a new Cobalt. I think I would prefer to buy used though. AHH... This isn't fair!

O and didn't you say you would put your car back up for sale and get one? I say we both get one and 'force' Paul to get one.. I know he would be ROYALY pissed if I got one... Ahh... Decisions Decisions
This is great.... I just hope I can get one soon enough
Ok well I just sent in a request for a qoute on a 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS Black with Black interior... Recaro Seats, LSD, XM Satellite, Sunroof, ashtray/coin tray. Thats all...

Let's see what they say they can do.!.!.! ... SniFF SniFF ...
I've decided to wait on the 06. Hopefully the bugs will be worked out by then. Wonder if you can preorder an 06 on employee pricing??

I am not sure about that! I am sure that is in the fine print somewhere!

If I can't get this one for the money that I want to spend than I shall wait for a used one!
NOOO!! Go new!! LOL j/k do what you gotta do! Hey is Paul around? If so tell him to get on and check his PM's.

I would like to do new but the fact that as soon as one is driven off the lot really doesn't appeal to me! :p

Ofcourse he is around...

Like I said, if I can get this Cobalt I found for the price I want to pay than I will get it ASAP... If not I will just wait for them to become 'used'...

Incentives and pricing is determined upon delivery of vehicle. So unless the EPP is still going on when you sign the final papers, you will be paying whatever price you can then negotiate.
