I don't know if any of you guys realize this, but all of us who bought a Cobalt SS are guinea pigs. There are alot of things that can go wrong with our cars simply because we are the first ones to own them. Compare the SS to version 1.0 of any computer software. The software has to be used by many people in many different situations to fix what doesn't work and to improve upon design flaws. So usually by version 2.0 you have a pretty stable platform. GM is probably banking on all of us driving our cars to their full potential. All I hope is that we don't all have to suffer from design flaws and they recall/replace the defects.
We have all taken a big chance buying a 1st edition car. Just look at the first Dodge Neon and all the mechanical problems it had. It took how many years to fixx all the problems?
To anyone who has to make unfortunate trips to your dealships service department for repairs just remember, your experiences are going to make next years model work better than yours
