there is none. It will keep going till it runs out of power to pull high gear.
Had mine up to 260km/h. But don't tell any one. :D

There is definately a fuel cutoff as the factory limits RPM at their preset redline. I had a run against my buddy driving a 04 Z24 and the fuel cutoff as it hit the rev limiter at around 6200 rpm or so

Well the Z24 I ran against last night was mine and was sold to my buddy so I guess I'm just not used to the CSS yet and maybe it's hitting 6500 rpm faster than I can look :p lol. Thanks for the replies people, much appreciated :)

Are you talking about a rev limiter, which shuts down spark(ie. MSD) or a speed limiter, which most standard vehicles have that shuts down the fuel flow at a specific speed(ie. chev silerado 160km/h, 100mph) With a fuel cutoff the vehicle dies until it slows down past the preset point then starts pulling again. With a rev limiter it will just sit there and bang against that rpm limit. "It" being the engine speed not vehicle speed.

The Cobalt SS does not have a SPEED limiter. (i.e. It can go and go until the redline of 5th gear.) However, it does have a fuel cutoff which after you hit off the redline/rev limiter a few seconds, it will cut off fuel so you don't blow your engine.
