GMS pricing available to all customers!

There is news from GM dealers that GM is extending employee discounts to all customers starting June 1. The GM discount offer is supposed to be in effect for a month and almost every GM vehicle will be covered. The employee discount can put a car four percent under invoice, but it does vary between individual models. This could create some nice values in the market. The Pontiac GTO for example could be well under $30k with the employee discount and the rebates. That is Mustang GT territory. Or it could bring the Pontiac G6 well under $20k. Saabs are looking more appealing now. This is a way for GM to offer rock bottom prices to its customers without hurting the dealerships too much. GM will profit less per car sold, but maybe this will help reduce inventories.

That is some awsome news and to bad i just cant swing car payments right now. :(
and off course I hurry

Finally got my ss/sc on May 28 after having waited 3 months for my order to have a build date. I actually got so sick of waiting I drove 2 hours south to Milwaukee and bought one before the HotButton ended. This is a way better deal than that and my impatience cost me a ton. To add to the irony my dealership call me up Tuesday after Memorial day and tells me we finally got a build date and I would have the car end of June. Had they known that Friday before I got mine in Milwaukee I would have gladly waited as the one on order has a sunroof and I settled for one without just so I could have it sooner.

P.S. a special shoutout to AutoBiz for helping me finally get in this car, good man! :)
doesnt matter about the employee discount for me, because they cant discont my car. beause there are no cobalt ss's that I want in the colors or options I want. so, i might as well order an 06 and get raped on the price.then i can get my colors, and options. sucks huh
Im contemplating the idea...... not sure yet, dont know what I wanna do

anyone else taking advantage of this?
I want G85 and silver. None that I can find on a lot, so I will just wait until next year and get an '06 right before the '07's come out and see what kind of deal I can swing. <unless there is a substantial difference between the two model years. If the '07 is a lot better, then I will just pony up the extra.>

The SHITTY thing is that i normally am bouncing around from our Chevy to Ford to Chrysler/Jeep dealerships. I hope that Matt did take care of you well! I just wish I would have known about this before hand, would have made it alot easier. We just got a red one in though, haha

Well I just got my '00Z24 paid off. I am working to pay off the wifes '04 Cavalier by December. In hopes that by September GM tells the plant that I work at (Moraine Assembly) that we will be getting the new line of Mid Size SUV's, And hopefully that we will be put back on our old schedule. (I lost average of $250 a week pay on the new schedule)

Hopefully by May of '06 I will be able to find the E85 package or better in a blue. And at the same time I hopefully be able to buy the Trailblazer SS (which my plant makes) for the wife in blue. Then hopefully I will be able to sell the wifes '04 Cavalier for mods for my Cobalt SS.

I guess I will just to have to wait and see.

But if for some reason that I can buy a Cobalt SS with that E85 package, sunroof, in Arrival Blue by July 3rd. I will so buy it so I can drive it to the GM Small Car Bash in Indy. :D

This promotion isn't doing very well :( We are behind our sales quotas already. More "looky-loo's" now then ever before.
cool, then maybe they'll extend this deal. I'm trying to buy one before the deadline, but my credit won't allow me to get the payments i want.

That sucks alot but i geuss i am just about the same place. But it is good untill July 5th. The day after my B-day! :D
Out the door for $20900 seems the norm around Maryland.
it sucks that this deal isnt offered for overseas military. So i have to pay regular price for my ss.
