Anybody know the GMS pricing on the SS/SC? Any info would be appreciated.

On a Cobalt SS with an MSRP of $23,810 the factory invoice amount is $22,584.23 and the GMS (GM Employee) price is $21,613.20

The only catch is going to be finding a dealer who will authorize a GMS sale for you while the car is hot.
Just wondrin..where'd you get your info from? somebody else has told me 19,400..and my parents bought a Pontiac Grand Prix GT before where the MSRP was like 26000 and they got it for 19000...seems like GMS price would be lower then 21,613 on the SS
In US GMS is 19,4... cause I bought one, thats what it came to
Waddaya think, I made this stuff up?

FYI, got GMS right off the factory invoice via GMDealerWorld, a copy of an actual invoice is something that anybody who actually qualifies for GMS pricing can get from almost any GM dealer.
Hey though, if you kids can buy SS's for $19,400 then what are doing asking what GMS is in the first place?
$20K is GMS on a Cobalt SS with no options, but it really doesn't matter right now because there isn't a dealer in the U.S who will let one go for GMS until they start getting built, there have been less than 25 SS's shipped to dealers so far.

I also recall that the old Grand Prix's had rather large rebates on them for the past several years, even still $5-6K off MSRP (after rebate) was typical GMS pricing structure on Grand Prix's (not $7K), rebates are not even a factor with this new Cobalt SS and the mark-up is not as high on this car as with the pricier Pontiac cousin.

Sorry I tried to answer your question with some facts, I'll know better next time.

Post the last 8 digits of the VIN # of the SS that you (supposedly) bought and I'll prove that you didn't buy it for $19,400!

Im not tryin to make enemies or anything man, calm down. I had just heard two different numbers and was wondering where the info came from. Thank you for clearing that up though.

HMMMMMMMMM I am looking at my receipt for my down payment and, MY GMS PRICE, If i had a VIN (NOT VIN #!!, there is not two Numbers # as you put it if you know what VIN means) and i would not be on this site right now I would be driving my SS, which should be in about month and a half or two. On GM Family site on web they have all GMS pricing for all cars, check there to, if you can get it, gotta have GM family member, DUH. 19,4... plus tax and tags, haha believe it or not, I GOT IT ON PAPER BUDDY! what now
Yeah they will be giving out GMS right now it doesn't cost the Dealership any money.

on a side note I swear I posted in this forum about 2 Cobalts SS's that are on Dealerships right now that I got off of GMDealerWorld and I can't seem to find it. I am just wondering why it would get deleted if it did.

Thanks for backing me up.

johnkb8,
Even you just posted the correct GMS price of $19,469.15 + $565.00 for freight (DFC) ($20,034.15 total GMS price) and this is on a stripped Cobalt SS and you did this after telling everyone that I was full of shit……..hmmm.
Well I guess you would actually have to know the meaning of the figures that you copy and paste to know what you are talking about and it is clear that you do not.

Order #'s (is this correct?) will work for me then, but since you said that yoiu had actually bought one for GMS I thought that that is what you meant.

I qualify for GMS and would buy one off the lot in a second, which dealer is honoring GMS on SS's right now?
Dude i ordered a 2005 Cobalt SS Supercharged in Blue w/ Blue inserts, OK, i got it from a dealer outside Philly, i have had 3 dealers out here tell me i would get GMS on this car, OK, and i picked the dealer that i thought was lying the least to me about stuff. OK, I know what I am paying for it, thats all that matters, plus, and STRIPPED down SS, what the hell you talking about, only a couple options that really dont matter to me, the SS comes with everything you need STOCK, OK!! Guess i dont know figures too, huh, well i know the figure i am paying for my SS (seems you did not) , and i know the pricing of this car, anything else you got... I know everything and anything about this car including figures!, get it right

On a Cobalt SS with an MSRP of $23,810 the factory invoice amount is $22,584.23 and the GMS (GM Employee) price is $21,613.20

The only catch is going to be finding a dealer who will authorize a GMS sale for you while the car is hot.

thats what you posted, seems a little off dont you think now! OK now bye bye then

Dipstick,
So are you still saying that $19,400 is the price that you are paying for your Cobalt?

Surely the dealer provided you with an order #????

Your story just doesn't add up sorry, just stop your damn lying.
I am follow this thread GMS pricing, I am paying YES GMS pricing, HMMMMMMMMM yes off course i have to pay tax and tags and all that stuff, and thats adds on GMS pricing, anything else i am LYING about dipstick, I got a order number too, do you have one, huh huh, damn man, why you need my order number, i know what i am doing, we all see that you dont here, anything else dipstick, haha

What's it look like? Do you need a translator?

Just so you know $20,034.15 is GMS on a base SS not "$19,400" as you claim to be paying, freight charge is factored right into GMS pricing and not a separate fee like tax and license.

Are you getting any of this? It will help you when you're old enough to actually buy a car assuming one of your family member’s works for GM that is.

Yea i know GMS, cause I AM BUYING MY SS for GMS, and GMS on the car is 19,469.15, yes freight charge is 565, msrp does not include that, that why GMS is 19,469.15
1AP37 Cobalt SS Supercharged Coupe $21,430.00 $0.00 $21,430.00 $19,469.15 $565.00
Now do you need a translator, you gotta think head

Oh yea thats for adding the 2 up for a total price, least your good at math, haha, 21,430 MSRP, 19,469.15 GMS, PLUS 565, good job fellow, retard

They also had a rebate...Forget about GMS on an 05 SS.There is simply not enough around for a dealer to sell one GMS..
Guys, chill.

There is no need for the "dipstick" garbage. You boys don't need to get so violent.
