I'm not really a fan of having completely no spoiler on these cars. The back end looks a little too round or something for me. I'd get that small spoiler from RKSport.
thats what im considering.. i really like that wing.

a replacement spoiler is def an option, no spoiler however makes the car unbalenced. Remeber they designed the cars positioning with that poiler in mind, notice how high your backend looks.

Either replace the spoiler or lower the rear end IMO

yes..the SS and SRT both look good without spoilers. Though, I was watching TUNER TRANSFORMATION, and they put a wings west spoiler on a srt, and it looked really good.

I like! Shakes that "boy racer" look. Mind sharing the steps you took for removal and pop ins?

Thanks
sure, the remove the spoiler you'll need some goo-gone and some spider-wire (fishing line)

1. Unscrew the two bolts that hold the wing to the decklid. Lift up the spoiler as much as you can and pour goo gone all up under it.. as much as you can get under there.

2. Take the fishing line and run it up under there and saw it back and forth. Eventually you'll be able to pry the wing off. Its kinda hard though.

3. As far as the pop-ins go you just have get some automotive/badge adhesive glue and put it on the bottom of the popins and stick them in.

Oh yeah! That definitely looks better than the factory spoiler not.

The car looks way too plain to me with out the spoiler although a little smaller unit would look better I for sure won't be removing mine and installing plastic plugs any time soon.
Maybe if I could find someone with a red base or LS model to swap trunk lids with me.

to each his own. The SS is a domestic, its not an import. And considering the car is FWD theres absolutely no reason to have the wing on there anyways. Its tacky and i couldnt even see out of the rearview.

Like said above...to each his own. I am not a big fan of the large spoilers these companies feel the need to slap on these cars (SRT/CSS). Mine is coming off soon and will be replaced with an nice "downdraft" style spoiler.

You can also see that they will need to use tabs of sort here and the placement offset from the factory stuff.....

I think that would look nice if they developed something subtle like that for you guys.

I'm not as pro park bench spoiler as I am anti cheesy plastic plugs in my trunk lid.
The lip spoiler that midnght posted on the silver Neon looks spectacular! But not if I have to live with holes or plugs (very unprofessional looking).
