I put a new 2.0 radiator in my ss but when i fill the overflow it dosen't go through the line/hoses. The upper and lower hoses don't get hard until around 205 degrees and it seems like its just air and no fluid. Is their a bleeder valve and where is it located???

Sorry for adding but........I really need some input on this topic as im stuck with no cooling system= me not driving. I just need to know how to bleed the air out of the cooling system or the location of the bleeded valve if the ss cobalt even has one.

CPR to the hoses is not helping- Car will run at about 190-200 degrees for a while ....but i can tell no/little fluid is going through the rad hoses.

anybody out there??? or are we all clueless as i am?? any feedback would do....just let me know you are acknowledging the post. Or if you could point me in the right direction as where i could get some help.

I went out to my car and looked because I was also curious, but I failed to find anything. It's got to be in a high place, if there is one, but its gonna be small. Just a little screw or something so it might be hard to spot. Call the dealership or GM and ask them to point you in the right direction

Remove the upper hose that goes over the supercharger nose. Thats the highest point in the system and gm recommends that.

actually gm recommends you use a special bleeder tool, but it costs $$$. Just disconnect your upper radiator hose, run your car and add coolant until you see coolant come out of the hose. Then just shut it off, reconnect the hose and top it off.
