Unfortunately, I had to leave early so I didn't get to see any times. Anyone know what times she has run? I searched and couldn't find anything.

Here is a pic I found of the car.

I can't wait to see it dialed in and at full power. The only thing I thought was kinda odd was that it had a log manifold. There is all kinds of room for a tubular. :confused:

Made it to Great Lakes Dragway, WI today. Was not what you would call ideal drag racing conditions. The air was moist and ready to rain at any moment. Managed 1 good pass at 10:15 AM. I cloaked a 14.707 at 95.54 mph! Quit promissing. Hoping for better times in the future with better conditions and more driving experience. I am just figuring this car out, she only has 1089 miles and I babied her before 900 miles. Don't believe my times? tomt5078 can confirm.

The sixty foot time went from a 1.88 to a 1.68, which is a tremendous drop. Now that we have figured out what the car likes, we should be able to drop it down even further. if you are running tubes i'm guessing you are running an e.t. drag tire as well. did you rim screw the wheels/slicks as well? i found i had a big problem with the rims rotating an two or three inches on launch before i did it.

PS - who's rims are you using and what are the measurements?

Thank you for the nice compliment. Im just trying to do my thing with this awesome cobalt and i am so excited to meet other cobalt fans. Again, i would love to hear from you guys with any other questions you have about the Phase 5 Chevy Cobalt

Its not, its faster than that! If you read MT's article, that is what THEY RAN!!! They are magazine editiors not race car drivers! And on top of that if you read into it you'll see that it was tuned DOWN for their test drive (said somethin about keepin lawyers happy) so it wasnt at full power on their test drive!

Also, the 7.4 1/8th mile is good for mid 11's which is still the tip of the iceberg for what that car will do when completely dialed in.

Pics of the engine compartment would be great.

Hahaha, thanks man :) Still waiting(not complaining though) just TTT for the day :) Just trying to make it simple to find a set of drag rims for the car if i got the measurements of the front wheel and the rear skinny(that sounds weird, haha)
