I was wondering if the cobalt ss s/c is going to be a 1 or 2 year production only. I have seen some other web sites that say the sedan and coupe will only have a 2.4 liter engine in them with no s/c.

I could be wrong but from what I know(which is not a lot) the s/c will be on all the ss's.They will add a turbo or make a turbo that you can add on top of the s/c to twin charge it for 300hp. There will also be one with 272hp and I guess it will have a bigger s/c or have more boost, but like I said I'm not sure. Feel free to step in and let me know if I'm wrong.

^^^ Right but worng. What is happening there will be 2 SS's one with a 2.0L supercharged and second one with a 2.4L N/A motor. That is all but as far as limited production i have know idea why they would do that.

you are correct there are two SS's. there are rumors about a 275hp version,
gm performance will be offering the kit some time this year.don't know if it
will ever become a regular production vehicle.

p.s. those ordering SS's should specify which engine they want before
ordering

One other thing SS's in four door version will have the 2.4L only. Coupes can havethe 2.0 S/C OR the 2.4L
