Why do you need a lift to install a drop in filter? It just drops in and connects in the airbox.
Riiiight..... it's really not that hard man. jack the car up, remove 5 lugs, take the wheel off and pop out some clips. It would be a waste of time driving to the dealership to put the car on the lift and so on. But to each is own.werdtourmoma said:well the stock airbox supposedly is behind the wheelwell or along those lines...i kno it atleast isnt visable from simply poppin the hood...i read somewhere that without a lift ud need to jack it up and take the tire of and some other stuff to put it on and that seems like a waste of my time
Ha Ha... I haven't looked under one either but I couldn't see it being to much. But honestly, even if it took an hour it still wouldn't be bad if you can save yourself on your warranty... Ya know?CoBIZZLE said:I dont know, I have heard quite a few people say it is a pain to change them for some reason, I dont know the reason, because I have yet to be lucky enough to look under the hood of one....![]()
Well i heard the filter in in the wheel well but still that filter should do no damage to the car what so ever.CoBIZZLE said:I dont know, I have heard quite a few people say it is a pain to change them for some reason, I dont know the reason, because I have yet to be lucky enough to look under the hood of one....![]()
