Hi there,

I bought a 2009 Cobalt SS/TC a few months ago, already installed a few parts here and there and now I'm looking to get back to the track with it. I used to track other cars a few years ago and I miss it a lot.

I'm wondering if any of you are also tracking a SS/TC, up here we do lapping (no lap times or competition involved), solo or some time attack (pretty lame as compared to what's going on in socal and others though...).

What kind of setups are you using on the car, I have pro kit coils and this is pretty much it, still on stock tires but looking to buy something else for the track. Always loved the Azenis.

Anyway, feel free to post your track experience with the SS/TC here!

You know, I don't have a SS/TC but I went to the autocross meet here in the Oakland Coliseum and was pretty impressed on how the TC's track....

My best time that day was a 53.355 and that is with Cat-back, Air box mod, Eibach Sportline springs, Eibach sportline swaybars (front and rear), DC Strut front brace, longer wheel studs and Falken Azenis 225/50ZR16 skins....

The TC had the best of 50.911 or so and that was stock suspension but stage 1 (I believe Intake, and a tune). So to say the TC's are a far better platform to begin with than the SC's.... I was a bit under powered compared to him because I make 226hp & 196ft/lbs torque to the wheel and his stage 1 should have ~290hp.... (correct me if Im wrong).

Good luck though!

One of the reason I bought the SS/TC in the first place is the fact that it was very fast on the track in the stock form. Always nice to be the underdog. I'm anxious to get it to a nice track and see for myself!
