I ordered my SS a long time ago and it has met delay after delay. First it was may 15th, then it was June 9th. Now I am being told that the LSD option has been canceled do to QC concerns. I suppose it could have something to do with laying off 25,000 people as well. The end result is they are saying no more Cobalt SS will be made with the LSD for 2005. Has anyone else heard this or is the dealer full of it?

Welcome to last month bro...they've had a stop order for a while now. It's too bad that your dealer forgot to tell you. There were only about 250 cars affected, but hey, mine was one of those also. I rolled my order over to 2006. This has NOTHING to do with the non-layoffs coming in 2008. Heck, it's just a bunch of people retiring.
